Beautiful display better than the first, amazing game.

Most games bore me after the first few levels. Both editions of Badland successfully drew me in and held me to the end. Just the right balance of challenge and variety. Had so much fun with this one!

This game has lost the mysterious and majestic quality of the first game. The levels are far to long, and dont have the same creative challenges like the first game. They are just ridiculously long and brutal, with incredibly difficult timing challenges, unlike the fun and easy to play levels that the first game had. This brutal difficulty takes away from the wonderful graphics and feel of the game. The screen movement is also garbage. I found that the biggest challenge of the game, even when the challenge is supposed to be something else, is staying ahead of the screen. Even transition parts in levels could kill you, because the screen would just jump ahead before you can catch up.

The long and short of it is this: Badland 2 does leaps and bounds to advance the gameplay of the original Badland, but as a game considered on its own, it has some horrible level design. Where the first game, by the necessity of its simple controls, had expertly crafted levels, this game, so concerned with showcasing its new capabilities (such as rolling and roundabout levels), that it loses its wit for the spectacle. Right up until the last levels, where much greater games would be having you use what you learned in difficult challenges, Badland 2 instead introduces yet more new mechanics, giving the impression (especially since the level sections came by post-release updates) that the dev team was still experimenting with their game engines capabilities. The end result equals a touch-screen physics platformer that relies on memory and repetition rather than skill or quick reflexes, sometimes very literally as obstacles appear which cannot be prepared for due to the screen scrolling and which cannot be safely navigated past at the same speed as the previous obstacle. I would love to recommend this game as a continuation of the Badland series, but I cant do so in good conscience.

I like this game but I wish that the developers would change multiplayer so that you could play with other people instead of by yourself trying to beat others times.

Excellent game! The developers have outdone themselves.

The game is fun at first but then it gets too hard and it makes you want to give up and stop playing.

I did not think that there would be a better game than badland.Badland2 proved me wrong.The only thing that could make it better would be more power ups.

This game is really fun. It seems like there isnt anything to it at first but the more you play the more you feel a story. The first game was very fun also.

I love the game, and the new ideas theyve implemented, but its really missing co - op, and the game is too short overall. I also havent noticed any level creator/editor. Which was one of my favorite parts of the first bad land

I would really really like to know what the actual story is. The graphics are cool. But the story! What is that robot with one eye in BADLAND 1? I need to know!

This is what mobile gaming is all about.

Just be prepared for a learning curve (controls can be sensitive at times) and the difficulty got cranked up to 11...but if you like gorgeous visuals, cool level design and solving puzzles - this is a must own...but definitely play the first one then this one...two great and different experiences....oh but I still hate the moving screen of death

Well sculpted puzzles that are challenging and fun.

Dont listen to those negative Nancys, this game has the same difficulty while adding even better things. It includes more movement to and extent, new abilities new traps and more. It is lack luster in content though after completing it. Hoping for either free dlc ( please ) or low cost packs as well as bringing in a level creator. Not much else to say. Is it worth 5$... Yes

Its good thats it pretty much its a good game to grab and play but I wish they had local multiplayer like the first badlands
